3. Translate into Urdu OR Rewrite into simple English following paragraphs. (Any TWO) (08)
(a) We all need help at times in our lives. Sometimes we may have accidents and we may get hurt. When we are injured or suddenly become unwell, we need someone to help us someone who knows what to do. It is the temporary and immediate help. This timely assistance, comprising of simple medical techniques, is most critical to the victims and is, often, life saving.
(b) Each medium has strengths that the other does not. Each makes use of strong points that the other lacks. Television news is like having a fast food meal whereas reading newspapers is like having a ten course dinner. The ideal seems to be, if one has the time, to both read the news and watch it on television.
(c) The scope of any field in terms of market demand should also be considered very seriously. We cannot practically deny the significance of hiring trends; for example, a decade ago when computer science professionals were in demand, masses of MCS (Master of Computer Sciences) students flooded the market with extremely disappointing results.
4. Write down the summary of the poem "The Peace" by Dr. Hartmann. (05)
